  1. So will all the hooks become Scourge Hooks then? Or do you still have to go through the trouble of beelining towards scourge hooks hoping no one will sabotage them or some shit. Because if the scourge hook placement are shit and you only get 4 uses of this perk, then it's not really worth it. LOL

  2. So they have nerfed it in once before and they have nerfed hex ruin with it too and now they are nerfing it again. How will a low mobility killers control gens anymore?!! They will be so easily rushed

  3. I hope every gen regression perk gets this treatment. I suffer playing killer with dh and suffer playing survivor cause of gen regression. I hope their next update incentivizes going for hooks over kills next.

  4. i love how gen kicking was the meta everybody wanted changed, and they decided to nerf one of the only gen regression perks that didn't involve kicking gens. I know they nerfed overcharge and brine but cmon, pain res was barely an issue. It rewarded killers for quickly ending chases, and it only rewarded them if the RNG hook placement was good, it was a balanced perk and now its even worse than pop

  5. Was really disappointed when I saw it. Pain Res is probably my most used perk behind Corrupt and Sloppy (not used together), and seeing a perk that was actively healthy for the chase side of Dbd, it just makes me feel I’m chasing for nothing. But then again this is BHVR… they have a pretty good reputation of fucking things up. Let’s just see if they reverse it/ loosen the restrictions/ the ptb makes it alright

  6. Ok now with CoB, OC and pain Res got nerfed the only good regression perk is surge (somewhat) and deadlock if you even count that as a regression. I get they are trying to shift the meta by nerfing medkits, killing CoH and all regression perks but by nerfing healing they are making survivors focus on gens more now. Instead of wasting 24 seconds to heal you can literally complete %30 of a generator. This also looks like it's going to hurt hit and run killers like the legion, wraith and onryo. People are just going to genrush you instead of wasting 24 seconds healing

  7. Next, they will give killers 4 tokens to use their attack and after 4 attacks, they are there to watch you do the gens. Pretty soon they will remove killers altogether…this game went from my all time favorite to now me having to hype myself up.

  8. The perk, that was never as broken/annoying as some people might think gets nerfed into the ground for no actual reason. It's no surprise why tunnel & camp becomes more and more must-have in these days.

  9. I understand they wanted people to not tunnel and go for chases for all survivors, but this is definitely not the way to do it. Scourge hook is not even that strong as it is right now due to the 15% not being that impactful and that still need 1/4 random special hooks to activate which could be easily destroyed by sabotage. Now its just useless

  10. It's hard enough getting a scourge hook build to work, especially on maps where the hooks are in bad spots or against a saboteur build. This change wasn't wanted or requested.
