This video is totally and completely scientifically accurate, and should be taken as the gold standard for accurately measuring toxicity.

Tldw, everyone sucks.
Scott is an entitled little weasel..if he ever worked a day in his life, he would look at things differently but him streaming for money made him think he's God's gift to DbD and can do no wrong.
The issue is that the game IS the toxicity. Red rank survivors would not play the game at all, if they weren't allowed to be toxic. That's the fun part for them. Sure, killers CAN be toxic, but it's only done as a way to win, as winning and BP gain are what's important for killer players — whereas survivors only care about making the game as unfun and toxic as possible for the person who's outnumbered 1 v 4. It's just textbook bullying, that's all there is to it. "Yeah well he deserves it, look how much of an X he is!" Classic middle school mentality. And all the while, Behaviour encourages it.
Scott is always wrong, period. He's said it himself: to him, "the chase is the game". But first of all, that's not Behaviour's intention at all lol. And second, hooking a survivor is "stopping them from playing the game" and is therefore toxic in his view. Also, if you have the "chase is the game" mentality as a Killer player, you lose 100% of the time, because there are 3 people in the game not doing that lol
Survivors toxic and entitled. Scott dumb and egotistical. End of video.
The only toxic thing survivors can do is swf cuz they basically cheating by chating about everything in match when its supposed to be silence between them, but devs always ignored that unlike with randoms. But in the other side … the killer can tunnel the shit out of u, after the new loop with so many dead zones and trash graphics which made everything so visible like a mobile game graphics its so hard to hide, even with ds its impossible so they will focus u until u r out, so where is the fun in that?
Scott really said "afk invisible wraith" is more toxic then anything survivors could do and wondered why people called him survivor sided.
Lets be honest… how many times we unleashed hell on randoms to revenge on them (even that they did nothing wrong) cuz last match was against a toxic swf?
I feel like when it comes to toxicity in DbD, you'll see way more of it from the survivors because they are the role of the many and fairly easy to play. Their BM can be performed from anywhere on the map (spamming vaulting noise notifications for instance) and they start off the game in the strongest position. The killer, in order to BM, has to actually catch the survivors and his BM could lead easily to a game throw whereas the survivors actions mean a lot less. Also, in endgame chat there's a potential of 4 voices that usually target their BM on the solo, killer role although they can also be toxic towards each other.
Survivor are more toxic simply cause they can be toxic to killer and their teammates. Killer can’t be toxic to themselves since they are on their own in a match. Toxicity is mainly about annoying other players, not yourself.
I disagree, nothing in the trial can be toxic, only end game chat can be. Both sides are playing for fun. Both sides see fun differently. But when they try to be keyboard warriors no matter the role, it's the only "toxic" thing. But every lighten up and take it as a funny joke. The reason why they are making a fool of them self is because, it is the only thing in their miserable lifes that gives them the smallest gleam of joy for a few seconds. Just be happy you made their life a little better.
I don't mind survivos teabagging or flashlight clicking but i do hate killers face camping me (not patrolling the hook).
DbD mentality: If you even think about attempting to win like i am, you’re toxic af
my steam profile is filled entirely with survivors complaining about everything possible but no killers complaining
"killers have the potential to be more toxic" donno about that fam
"survivors do it more often" thx end video done, Survivors are more toxic point made.
I expected you to end the video with "I'm space coconut and you're toxic."
….CLANCY !
Lets not forget item teching, yknow, placing down a bad item when injured so when the person with a good item tries to heal you, they swap items, and you take their better item before they swap back. Another example of survivors being toxic towards each other.
If you don't play both sides, you're toxic.
Im ngl Scott just sounds very ignorant and doesn't think about logical situations
What is your icon pack? I love the look of it
Scott is honestly one of the biggest killer apologists in the scene. He literally defends SWF Toxicity consistently, and is always approaching comments in favor of survivors. I can guess why too, considering his fiance Jen is literally one of the most toxic disgusting streamers around. Her and friend group are all survivor mains, and all of them are extremely self entitled toxic pieces of shit.
I'm less bothered by "toxicity" and more so by bad game design. Be it bad mechanics or broken/annoying weapons, perks, abilities. Most people flock to the most broken/powerful abilities in games and that makes sense, but it makes for a horrible experience. I enjoy breaking certain games by using weapons that work very well together. But the moment you bring another player into that equation, be it me or them on the receiving end, doesn't really matter, it becomes a snore.
Coop games also suffer from this issue. TF2's PvE mode comes to mind, brain-dead players who spam their gas canister every 10 seconds and essentially turn the entire game in an even greater spawn camp. Same thing happens in CoD's Extinction mode where you can get indefinite wall hacks by abusing an easter egg. The EE is supposed to give you walls on the enemies for like 2 minutes, but then if you use a boost that you can buy, that boost gives the same effect but for way less time, it'll conflict with the EE effect and just let you keep the effect forever or until you pick the same boost up again. It's boring, because the moment aliens spawn you can see them and you can easily spawn kill them. Instead of running around and actually engaging in gameplay you just sit there scanning the walls back and forth to catch aliens crawling around.
as a survivor main killer has the potential to be more toxic but survivors are way often more toxic my guess as to this reason is you encounter more survivors then killer because it takes 4 survives and only 1 killer for a Mach your more likely to encounter a toxic survivor then killer. also swf's you cant have your friends play the killer 3of the survivors with 1 random so swf's all play survivor and when people are with friends and lose they become more toxic.
Well the match can end if the killer is standing in a corner, not doing anything, because survs will do gens, but the match can also end if survs are just standing in a corner, not doing anything, because the killer will eventually find and kill them
If we're talking about a killer being afk, then we should also talk about the survs being afk
I just don't see 4 survs hiding and NOT do gens, that would be boring for them too, wouldn't it? if anyone is hiding, they always wait for the killer to be gone and finish gens then, never have i ever witnessed survs being stealthy, just for the sake of being stealthy, even new players will eventually do gens
Thats the only thing i disagree dude, nice video, keep up the good work
I think alot of this came about from initial videos when the game started. When I started playing I was looking for videos on how to play killer/survivors. Every video I found was how to play "toxic" this or that and not a general how to video. This culture has been bred from the beginning and there is no easy way of ending anytime soon.
I said it before, and I will say it again: Scott Jund doesn't give a shit about anything in DBD except the chasing. Anything that is not chasing is bad. Anything that shortens a chase is bad. Anything that ends a chase is bad. Anything that avoids a chase is bad.
Scott is adumbass
You know, people say killers are toxic and survivors are toxic. What no one seems to talk about is how 15 minutes can save you 15% or more on car insurance.
Imagine being a 3rd tier content creator making drama videos to get clicks
Survivor is far worst cause its 4x this is undisputed
0:46 "Doing something to antagonize the other side with no benefit to yourself" im still looking for the benefit of t-bagging and wasting flashlight charges
Both sides being toxic in the game is a good and logical conclusion. But in my mind, the real toxicity is going after players after the game. Be the the endgame chat or, worse, going after peoples profiles or console invites etc etc.
i swear to god the more i listen to scott the more i think he has no idea what he is talking about most of the time
I played both sides, all these things aren't toxic. Tunneling? Easy win, camping hook? BT and there's counters. Mostly everything has a counter if you're a killer, as a survivor also.
We're at a time when everything you do to irritate someone is "toxic" or "bullying" but if ya want evidence of toxicity it's the chat, i'm almost glad it doesn't exist on console cuz of it… that would be "toxic" like a CoD chat.
The whole wraith going on a corner is toxic then literally everything in the game is toxic, they get all gens and totems for free and escape for FREE. And how is t bagging constantly not toxic but hiding is 😑
Honestly forgive me for saying this but Scott needs to STFU this guy literally is grabbing at so many straws to make killers seem toxic because he can't find anything also this is just a personal opinion but he's got a very punchable face and attitude
