I hate how BHVR did Sadako dirty.
I mean, what does she really have?
Her "invisibility" aka fading in-and-out of reality stealth ability is negated by her emitting a Lullaby whenever she's around.
Her TV teleportation ability is Freddy's but objectively inferior, and her Heart Attack Mori is a novelty that you either luck out, or throw the match to get it.
If you want to play Sadako, you might as well just play Freddy and have a better time. At least he has Dream Snares/Pallets, something he can use.
I think they should make Iri Videotape basekit. It rewards Manifesting plays and keeps the TVs available for use, meaning the survivors will have to manually eject tapes to have a shot at not getting TPed to. An Ultra Rare worthy of taking its place would be inserting videotapes only takes away 2 Condemnation. Paired with Yoichi's Net, it would make videotapes nearly useless unless the survivors get lucky and make a complete break for the VCR. They'll have to scramble and be off gens constantly to make headway.
I enjoy Enryo quite a bit. It's a shame you pretty much have to ignore the condemn mechanic. It is a random treat when it happens though. Love her for the same reason I mained Legion. Difficult to play and underrated.
People can complain about most killers being anti loop, but man, Sadako really shows how a killer with no anti loop power really struggles
She's difficult but not because of a high skill ceiling; she's just shit.
Huge power cooldown, weak chase power effect, very short fov.
She seems to have a super outdated design.
It's a shame she isn't that good because I think she's genuinely fun.
Some changes she needs I think is to massively reduce her tv cooldown to maybe 45 seconds. Also condemned should be more of a problem. Maybe survivors should have a debuff based on how many stacks they have.
Also remove her lullaby. Wraith doesn't have one and he goes all the way invisible.
You think the cooldown times would be reversed. 100 seconds if the Survivor turns off the TV and 60 if you use it. Makes sense to me to have it that way instead.
Idk guys as someone who's been maining her she really isn't that bad. And tatatiru I love you but u made a lot of mistakes in this video.
Sadako really needs some buffs to her condemned. Was thinking maybe make it stack up overtime but holding a tape slows it down. That way survivors play around her passive and not just completely ignore it.
I usually run her with: make your choices, floods of rage, devour and undying (sometimes i switch out undying for corrupt)
One way to not play like its a comp game is to not sweat for the 4k… Like if you chill out it'll aways be 2ks on average.
its sucks that she's underwhelming as i find her to be really cool, and a pretty scary killer.
Sadako is undeniably a really weak killer compared to many others. Despite this I still love her and 100% will main her. She might be frustrating to play but I can't think of anything more fun than playing as the spooky ghost girl.

The onryo is hard cause she’s really bad and cannot compete against good loopers or efficient survivors

she kinda has pig syndrome a little bit; i off-main her and generally find her most consistent addon to be the brown that decreases post-projection cooldown time, the cabin sign. alongside that, yoichis fishing net makes it so that survivors cant just take a tape and finish a gen by themselves before the tv recharges. mothers nit comb is also a solid choice (and imo should be basekit) as it lets you see where the highest concentration of tvs is early, so you can force your first chase to take place in an unsafe location, alongside providing helpful info the whole match.
that being said, this all hinges on the survivors not having someone on tv duty or sending you to a busted map. condemned is too weak and no anti-loop hurts
id personally recommend using haunted ground/retribution on sadako, her mobility lends insane value to it. aura reading in general compliments her power very well
Sadako isn't the best killer, but she's damn good imo. Like the first game of my day as killer (usual horrible without warmup games) I got the adept onryo achievement. I understand everyone's frustrations though. She definitely is lacking in lots of regards
