  1. i remember when peanits told some chick that they wouldnt remove frreddies sex dungeon just because she had bad experiences. So glad people arent getting their way on destroying the horro or dark elements

  2. My two biggest phobias are spiders and statues (the second one is thanks to Weeping Angels from Doctor Who). And, I would vouch for a spider killer and gargoyle themed killer. Heck, IRL I can't handle puke, but Plague is just so over the top with it that it doesn't affect me. I tend to wind up playing killer most of the time anyways, so I'm not really affected by the idea of those types of killers, but even when I play survivor, it doesn't bother me.

  3. I think the most DBD can do is just option to change color of blood, pukes and gore but anything more would just be too much. Let's imagine Silent Hill 2, it's a very inaccessible horror game because of it's themes and monsters. Does that mean it should have an option to make everything clean instead of rusty? Delete puking enemies? Any mention of self harm? No cause that would destroy the whole game. Horror is not for everyone and that's alright, not everything should be for everyone

  4. i don't see why anyone would care if they added accessibility options to dbd. i don't think adding ones something that blocks playing against certain killers is a good idea, but adding something that changes what killers that are common phobias look like wont change how the game plays out. i don't like spiders and if they added a killer like that i would probably stop playing and i don't want to stop playing a game i enjoy. this is a scary game but i don't see the issue with adding accessibility options.

  5. You are now EASILY my favorite Dead By Daylight YouTuber from this video alone, and this is the first video from you I have seen. The idea someone thinks a HORROR game should accommodate for FEARS is INSANE

  6. I am personally devastated by heights, to the point that I always have a bad feeling when playing sky levels like in Mario 64, or places where I have to keep from falling like in many Souls games. I don't, however, let this keep me from playing those games because, and people need to understand this, it is not real. If anything, addressing your fears in a fictional setting like this is a way to learn how to deal with them.

And for those who seriously can't handle seeing whatever it is they are afraid of on screen, then not only should you avoid this game, but I question why you even want to play it in the first place. DbD is not some super amazing, must play game. It's basically a game of tag with a monster playing "it". There are thousands of games out there that are more interesting, more fun, and more engaging, that will not have your fear of choice in it (except for heights, cause falling is just a fact of life that I have to deal with XD.)

  7. Gen Z entitlement is truly something, imagine having the audacity to request that an entire horror game be catered to YOUR phobia and additionally try to spin it so that if anyone disagrees they're somehow aiding in oppression, classic twitter victim complex. Not everything is for everyone, plenty of other games they can play that won't trigger their soft sensibilities.

  8. A toggle doesnt change the game for everyone by default… thats the point of having accessibility features as options and not mandatory, right? I think it'd be a fair argument to say that maybe it shouldn't be a priority in terms of development time (lord knows BHVR needs all they can get) but I feel like arguing that accessibility options affect the game for anyone in any other negative way is really just a reach. If there was a call to remove content then I'd agree that it'd affect the game negatively, but the option to, say, have certain killers only appear using the default skins or a different sfx for something like plague… really doesn't change the gameplay in the slightest for anyone aside from the people it directly benefits, right?

  9. 0:41 this one ALWAYS gets me because those people typically defend tbagging, which is literally just as “bad” as humping in the sense that they’re both based in non consensual sexual actions, but only one is ever hated and treated like it’s the worst thing.

  10. Probably gonna get alot of hate for this but i honestly dont care anymore because im sick of people saying "then quit" or "just dc" as a response to phobias. Why should people who hace phobias over a specific killer hace to leave the game that they love just because one killer that triggers their ptsd gets added. How is that fair to them? Like a few of my friends who have a genuine fear of dolls who have been playing since day one release, why should they have to quit dbd or dc because they added chucky. So its okay to add things like settings to prevent photosensitive epilepsy but not a setting to prevent ptsd and panic attacks thqt could lead to them hurting themselves irl out of fear. I get that its supposed to be a horror game, but their are limits to how much people can take. They should add a setting to avoid certain killers but make it so you can only select a certain number, like at max 2-3 killers are allowed to be set to avoid, people with certain phobias to certain killers shouldn't have to suffer because a killer gets added that triggers their phobia.

  11. It sounds like to me that people nowadays just take everything personally or just don't watch horror movies, at least the OLD horror movies that actually are horror. There some modern horror movies that are actually scary like terrofire 3 (Art the clown) that is pretty good but most horror stuff nowadays from what i seen isn't even that damn scary or anything shocking about it. The Old EVIL DEAD goat, i got nightmares from it A plus, The Thing goat, Halloween goat and on and on. People are just so so sooooo, …. Like crybabies im sorry but no one these days seem to handle horror well and whenever I or my friends who also enjoy horro bring it up randomly some random person just gives us weird looks like were the problem… DbD is a fucking horror game. And please if you don't have a phobia, SHUT YOUR GOD DAMN MOUTH YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT YOU SMALL BRAINED EATING BIO ENGINEERED BULLSHIT FOOD THATS FUCKING UP YOUR BRAIN (yes it actually does and messes up your reproductive organs)

  12. I can't believe the entitlement that people have over this game. It's gotten rediculous at this point. If you're this soft don't play the game and find something else to play. Don't ruin the game for people who actually enjoy it smfh. I don't personally like gore, vomit, etc but I deal with it. People need to grow up.

  13. Told ya (at some point), they will have to brighten up the entire game to make it accessible to people with nyctophobia, then they will remove blood because hemophobia and then we will have to replace plague vomit with rainbow candies because that's another phobia.

Dbd attracts the absolute cesspool of degenerates.

  14. The thing is though there is a killer that isn't just trigging a phobia but PTSD. I've been playing for a few years before this killer was even a possibility in the game. If you have been playing a game for years then they add a real life trauma you've had to deal with (dog attacks) adding something to prevent people with dog trauma matching with this killer is not a bad thing. PTSD is not entitlement. I shouldn't have to stop playing a game I love and have loved for years, spent a lot of money on. All because the community doesn't understand PTSD. Yes not every phobia needs a toggle option but the killer with a dog that mauls people needs that option. And it is upsetting that the community refuses to understand that. You wouldn't tell a rape victim to get over their trauma so why tell someone who was almost mauled to death by a dog to get over it. And that's what a good chunk of the community is doing around the topic of houndmaster.

  15. I don't have a phobia of vomiting but an actual medical condition where I can't see/hear vomiting or I start to do the same do you count this as the same because every time I get the plague I have to DC to prevent my medical condition. Why would removing this as a future not make sense for people like me who have a medical condition other stuff sure I get but when it comes to medical conditions I feel like its pretty important to help people in my situation. So I want to hear your input why I shouldn't have an accessibility option to remove puking/vomitting from Dead By Daylight!

  16. If you can’t handle horror don’t play a horror game simple as that. I hope the devs add more phobia based killers and legitimately scary stuff that makes me and other people uncomfortable. I understand that people need their safe spaces but for the love of fuck you aren’t gonna find that in the horror genre, it’s MEANT to upset you.

  17. I dont think people realise the difference between something being horror scary, and legit phobias lmao not to mention that you could be a fan of the game for many years and then they add something that you have a phobia of – now you have something that could potentially trigger your phobia randomly. im saying this as a horror fan, there is nothing wrong with allowing people to opt out of certain things if it's something that can genuinely harm someone

  18. This would be like playing Doom but you want the developers to add a toggle to change the demons into stuffed animals, and the guns into nerf weapons. If you can't handle horror, don't play the game.

If they start adding toggles for these things, the game will lose what little identity it still has. And if they start doing it I'm going to stop playing this game entirely.

  19. This is what happens when BHVR tries to attract people that DON'T like horror, and are just casual fans of stuff like League of Legends or Overwatch.
Short term, larger player numbers. Long term effect, those players just demand the game be massively changed, so it's more like LoL, Overwatch, etc.

  20. Want to get scared? Turn the volume of the game up lol. Playing a lot of spirit recently and legit jumped on my chair when the snowmans from the event screamed at me, or when some sounds on new maps popped up. I think that they are getting in the right direction with that
