For the love of Dwight, stop acting like it’s everyone else’s responsibility to make sure you have a fun match.

  1. god i had the exact same situation. was playing spirit against a full sabo swf ttv group and ofc they started insulting me when i let them bleed out in the end lmao. Sabo build survivors are almost always like this

  2. Ik this is counter intuitive to the generall video idea but thia is the exact reason I mentally cant play DBD anymore. Everytime someone does the slightest bit of BM my brain just goes "Oh he's toxic" mode. People behave so sh*t in this game that even if you play fair and square, I just cant help but suspect that the person behind the screen is secretly making fun of me or is acting like a toxic person. This is a problem that cant be fixxed its way too deep rooted into my brain at this point. Its one of the reasons I was really looking forward to bots. I just hoped they would be a little better at the game…

  3. It’s almost as if any game base considers the lamest ways to win as degenerate and stupid. Yeah you can basement camp with bubba and tunnel at 5 gens. Nobody’s stopping you. But it’s YOU who’s entitled if you believe someone needs to be happy while it’s happening. I personally don’t care much anymore cos I’ve been playing the game for a while. But as a newer player, getting camped the entire game or tunneled out feels horrible and drives people away from the game. Then you wanna defend it as a respectable strategy. It’s like any game or competition. There’s rules and technically as long as you abide by them it’s fine. But there’s also just sportsmanlike conduct and not being a jerk unprovoked. Lastly, i think it’s really funny how it’s always the killer mains that play like you who get mad when the other team brings 4 BNPs and full meta builds as if you don’t tunnel and camp every game. It’s the same thing but on the killer side. It’s not fun for anyone. And then you blame it on the “survivor mains” for being entitled but still throw your fit about the game being surv sided. It’s just a joke. Most of the community that thinks like this are absolute jokes

  4. MMR is what killed DBD for me and made me leave it. Not the people who think like that "bleeding" survivor tramp from twitch you featured. Those people have(sadly) always been a part of DBD since the early days. They never drove anyone away before and they aren't now. The most they ever did was make someone DC. And although that does ruin a match, it isn't enough to end DBD.

  5. Im personally fine with like any perk, but jesus i am tired of eruption, im just trying to do gens, thankfully it hasn’t been as common so I don’t really care, but when it was eruption 24/7, god it was not super fun

  6. Well can you blame them logan when you got a band and you play your bands music on streams it seems to me and alot of other folks that you don't do all of this because u care about people I honestly think you're doing it to try and get more people to notice villian of the story cause atm yous ain't doing so good like you're out of line music which isn't big at all.. I think you do it to get more people watching you and in turn the band.. it's a smart tactic logan you maybe able to fool the dbd community but ya can't fool the DBD ME logan

  7. you're right but I hope they'll change current killer meta as it sucks when the killer just kicks last 3 gens for ages untill someone gives up. I played that way myself and found it boring even from the killer perspective (but I needed that adept huh)

  8. You bring a sabo build when I play killer, well that is all fine and dandy but understand that I am going to make sure you spend the full 4 minutes on the ground to bleed out and I will happily take a black pip or even a depip to ensure that happens

  9. One thing that doesnt help this problem is some of the bigger streamers acting the same way but playing it off as a meme of sorts. Some of them even encourage leaveing the game. A lot of people want to believe they're not biased but from an outside perspective they're a part of this problem.

  10. These people are absolutely pathetic. Seriously though.. There are actually fog whisperers that act that way?? Holy shit. That shows how fucked the community is. I've never played a game with a community quite like DBD's. It's BIZARRE

  11. They are the ones who made it imposible for him to hook someone yet they are complaining about him not hooking when he cant even hook because they literally took that ability away from him. Im so confused.

  12. im not a big dbd player maybe just 200 hours in. And what pisses me off the most is when survivors and killer starts beeing friends ingame or when killer "shows" mercy to survivors by dropping them near escape hatch etc. IT bugs me so much in my mind thats worse then getting killed by a survivor.

  13. i think some of this is bc most people don't play both sides, so they dont know how frustrating/unfun certain playstyles are, or are unable to empathize with the fact that tunneling or camping are sometimes necessary. i don't think this would fix the attitude for everyone but tbh i wish behavior would get rid of de-pipping (except in cases where you DC), because it can be kinda frustrating being camped or tunneled when trying to rank up, especially if you get tunneled out in the first few minutes at like four gens, and then de-pip because of it. same with killer, when you get gen rushed in the first four or five minutes, and you dont even really have a chance to counter it

  14. I'm a Moderator for a very chill and friendly TTV Who does partake in some Basement bubba every now and then and one of the followers decided to unfollow because they decided that the TTV "was the main cause of toxicity in the DBD community" and then proceeded to Harass them and myself, it's a shame that the community is becoming like this when it used to be more chill a few years ago

  15. Once again, I’m just letting you know, a ‘friend’ of yours that you made an exposed video about that turned into their ‘redemption’ arc… still plays exactly how you described at the beginning of this video. Blaming the other side, maybe has a game where they facecamp so survs just do gens and said killer player accuses them of genrushing, etc, just overall butthurt. Just saying. You should look into it. 🙂

  16. It's not fucking possible to be held hostage like that. You have a 2min bleed out time (unless it increased for the years ago of when I played) thats it. You're hostage for 2 minutes and then you go to the next match. If you're really that upset step away, go get some water to dilute your salt then play the next match

  17. What i personally noticed – i never DC as a killer. But i usually DC as survivor when at the start of the match killer ignores everyone and tunnels-3 hooks one survivor. Killer's fun is not my responsibility too i guess.
Sure, survivors do toxic stuff all the time, or try to do it, but it usually wastes so much time that they lose. Like in this video.
On the other hand tunneling and getting 1 survivor exclusively out of the game early is pretty much a win and one of the best strats. It will for sure ruin that player's fun. And even if killer's first target is really good at chases – killer will drop chasing them after first 30-60 seconds and look for easier target to 3 hook out and will never bother chasing them until pretty much the end.

That "your fun is not anybody else's responsibility" mentality is pretty toxic too. Since devs won't do a gameplay loop not toxic – only players can make it so.
Don't disagree with calling out survivor's behavior in the video though – pretty disgusting.

  18. holding the game hostage is playing knight with 4 slowdowns in a 3 gen and not chasing anyone. slugging is not holding the game hostage like some people are so entitled lol.

  20. I don't play the game anymore. It is not fun even when I get a 4K or escape. The game is just a torture device for being on the school playground that is toxic. Enough said.

  21. I mostly agree and i dont say that The other side should care about My fun but its kind of annoying when u play killer like wesker, just chilling no meta, but its a swf who pre drops and camps pallets so u won't get a chance to do fun stuff with The bound.

  22. It must just be me but I usually just play for fun.

I remember I use to be really sweaty and salty but once I started playing for the fun it the memes I enjoyed it more.

I also play for tome challenges so maybe that’s different too. But if I laugh once in the match I call it a gg.

  23. I try to make my dbd games as fair as I can so I know im having fun and I know that not everyone can have fun but everyone does feel entitled to a win, I went against one of my friends who was playing with their other friends and expected me to give them the win, you gotta earn the win
