  1. one question on the coupe change, wouldnt it be good to put it on an activatable for killer? i like your idea too but if i only used 1% of my extended range wouldnt it feel like i was shafted for the full distance of that 1 token? would make sense though since you did get value, just the tip.

  2. Coup de grace should enhance with bloodlust tiers. So with 0 gens done, you have 0% base extended lunge at no bloodlust, 10% with BL1, 20% with BL2, 40% with BL3. With 4 gens done, you have a 20% base extended lunge, +10+20+40%.

  3. I love the Coup de Grâce change idea, but i think that it should take a stack too if you are stunned by a pallet due to the extend of coup, otherwise you could get free coup extensions and run End/fury and destroy pallets that you otherwise would have had to loop longer without coup if you didnt want to waste a stack.

  4. So this idea for Coup is, when a gen is completed, gain a token.
When you have 1 or more tokens, increase lunge distance.
When you hit a survivor with a basic attack, lose 1 token.
Still a lot worse than an actual Coup De Grace like… building up in chase and after some chase time you get a bigger lunge, like bloodlust maybe.

  5. Here’s something no one wants to talk about: solo coms or proxy chat. The common argument against this is that 1. It would buff survivors, and 2. It would lead to a lot of toxicity. On the toxicity standpoint, I agree. But we also need to remember that other games have this and the toxicity leads to a lot of eye rolls/mutes, and not much more.
Now on the other point, there’s nuance to that, so just stay with me on this.
The main issue (imo) with all of the buffs/nerfs to survivors and their meta stems from killers getting stomped by swfs. And everytime there’s a nerf it has the same affect: it makes swfs more bearable for killers, while completely crippling solo queue. That’s a serious problem seeing as solo queue is a majority of the game. So when nerfing survivor meta, they’re nerfing with SWFs in mind while effectively crippling a majority of the game.
So the main conclusion is that the problem isn’t survivor meta itself, but the disparity between swfs and solo queue. Now, killers may hate this at first, but what they may not realize is that this will allow BHVR to nerf survivor meta with little complaints from survivors, and will also lead to a more consistent gameplay for killers as opposed to getting easy/boring 4ks against solo players, and randomly getting swfs that may still stomp them anyways.

  6. No way will Behavior be able to code something as complex as that proposed Coup change. No clue how that would be realistic implemented honestly. All the other changes sound great though

  7. I gotta say when I heard the first suggestion I'd be so happy if this got the slight nerf that was recommended. I will admit this perk and a few other killer slow down perks are some of the reason I took a break lately. It becomes aggravating every game to get the wind taken out of your sails. You are so very close and then you get that punishment. I think alot of the average players have a hard time keeping up with all the counters especially when they implement so many. Counters to Jolt, Eruption, Dragons Grip. Some maybe don't have one idk. Soft nerf is a nice way to bypass the learning curve. It becomes a bit of damn research just to play the game efficiently. I miss those old days.

  8. Eruption is just a flawed concept imo. The only killers who can really use it well are the ones that don't NEED it, like Nurse and Blight. Most other killers don't have the time to kick gens regularly in my experience. It doesn't need a regression buff and incapacitated nerf, it needs an entire rework.

Wesker should remove Infection on hook and reduce the vaccines on the by half. Simple fix imo

Coup de Grace needs to just have multiple things that can charge it. For example, gens, totems, pallets broken, multiple survivors hit, etc. That way tokens won't be so rare.

  9. A suggestion I made for Eruption was that it would automatically regress 10% then block the generators afflicted by it for 15-20 seconds.
Removing the scream would have it be less of an information perk since it automatically blocks generators, blocking the generator would force the killer to wait to apply kick-related regression perks, blocking the generator would not cause SoloQ to suffer as much but would provide effectiveness against SWF.

  10. I feel like if Coup doesn't consume tokens unless it hits, is there a possibility to put on Unrelenting and just lunge around the map at faster than walking?
Actually now I am curious if it could potentially make you travel faster.

But I feel if the only change coup de grace got was just being a cool down perk instead of based on gens. Or maybe if they keep the tokens, each gen also grants distance to make it viable for end game builds.

  11. I don't understand why people are so stuck on eruption giving the incapacitated effect. Just regress and block the gen for however much and however long. Incapacitating and forcing people to sit and do nothing at no fault of their own is just piss poor design lol. Also at the very least, if not in addition to other nerfs, all these different gen kick perks' effects should be removed when the gen hits 0%

  12. A suggestion for Eruption is instead of applying the effect on down, it instead applies on pickup. It gives an interesting situation where the killer can slug a bit and the survivors can continue to repair the gen at risk of a long incapacitation effect, or stop repairing and wait for the pickup.

  13. Just based off these suggestions and being a p100 survivor, eruption is annoying as fuck even in a swf, one change ive always said was to just have the effect incapacitate you on just the one gen you were working on so you could heal or go to a new gen etc. if youre alone and injured its not always safe to leave the gen or its close so you wanna finish it so you stay. Still time being wasted by the survivor.
