  1. I'm sorry, but i HAVE to correct you: skill ceiling is the potential of a perk/character/whatever when played at maximum skill. Skill floor is the same at minimum skill. "Low skill ceiling" means that even if you're good at it, it still would kinda suck. You said that freddy has a low floor and ceiling, while what you meant that he has a high skill floor (high effectiveness at low skill) and high skill ceiling. Deathslinger has a low skill floor and high ceiling – he sucks when you're bad, but CAN be good in the right hands

  2. Listen, I Agree with you, respect due where its due. HOWEVER, when you keep seeing Survs go down in less than 10secs of being found by a Nurse. Thats BORING. Because now you have to go full immersive or die. Bad nurses are equally boring. They get rolled by 400hr+ Survs and Gens get rushed and the games over.
And for all you "play with cover" people. You KNOW that a good nurse CAN NOT be played by Cover. gg no re.

  3. Scott: complicated reason why people don't complain about Nurse
Real reason: You get visual feedback about what Nurse is doing therefor people don't feel cheated when she does well. Same with your Hillbilly example. Visual feedback is the key to making powers not feel terrible for the surv

  4. Heres the difference

    1. Nurse has some counterplay, yes, she is very powerful, but even the best nurse has to have some counterplay. 2. You are right, alot of people make many mistakes as a nurse, and people who are super good at nurse we praise.

    3. Spirit has almost no counterplay whatsoever, and a good spirit is a guaranteed 4k unless lucky hatch. Ive gone against rank 20s who pretty obviously arent too good at the game, and yet they wipe out entire matches because of their power.

  5. I dont have a problem with spirit but jeez when u can mind game by just standing there thats when its a bit irritating. Nurse on the other hand requires alot of skill. I can always respect a nurse who downs a whole team but a spirit i just think "well thats spirit lol"

  6. Loved wat he spoke about….//nurse is very unforgiving compared to spirit I’ve had these thoughts on about the game times don’t got poor balance of risk and reward on both sides but u c it more on killers

  7. I mean when you get killed by a nurse you think: well, she just plays well and outplayed me there.
When downed by a spirit you think: well, she has headphones and eyes. She barely needs any skill, it's just not fair and so frustrating.

  8. Love the vids but think you're way off the mark here. When I get instantly downed at a loop by a nurse that is clearly good at their character, i dont give them a nod of respect, I mentally check out of the game. Also i think it's unjust you put nurse players on a pedestal of godhood, earning the right to 4k every game, and then say spirit has only 1 mechanic which is listening to survivors. No killer has only one mechanic, especially not spirit. Why are good spirits the same way nurse/billy is? I would rather play vs a spirit than a Billy for the sake of me at least being allowed a 2nd chance after being hit by their power. Love the ramble style commentary typically but didnt find a point of yours that held up to my own experience.

  9. id argue that Slinger does fit in your theory. There are 2 other projectile killers in the game being huntress and plague. They generally have no complaints aside from hitboxes. They just have very noticeable travel time where as he feels like he is hitscan with how fast the shot travels and there is a lack of wind up or charge time

  10. as a former pro national fps player i would tell u this, deathslinger in the hands of good latency killer that is an fps player is very deadly and very annoying to verse, believe me u will get down and hes just as opressive as huntress nurse and spirit, his only problem is lack of map presence. also im over 4k in dbd. and i think all the killers have skillset and they have to master it, some are easier and some are harder but in the end is the person who know how to deal with every loop that get those good looping guys. weaker killers will have difficult times in strong loops like jungle jyms and shacks or worse(combined powerful loops), but lets be honest there arent that many good dbd survivors yet to measure the true survivor skill(which we know because i stick there in the top and dying by latency alone 99% of the time when i die), the good killers nearly never lose(im also 1 of those guys that nearly never lose unless i pick troll build wraith and get real tournament team or some shit which is also barely if i lose… if.). now with the hitbox problems and dead hard that most of the time dont even work etc there is hard telling which side is stronger, because killers can actually be busted thanks to all of those latency crap but it can go both ways. the game cannot be called competitive when u have immense bugs that are game changing bugs. so for me dbd is casual game and shouldnt be taken competitively because its impossible to compete when u dying to garbage unrealistic hitboxes, yet my nature is very comp so i will always be top notch until i leave this shit game.(playing league as well lol is too much brain damaging lately with the hitboxes), in the end, great video amigo, see u in the next chapter of Dead By Daylight, where more bugs will be added 🙂

  11. My best Spirit game to date was playing without headphones on on Gideon. It was a 3k and the last person got the hatch. That was a super fun challenge but all of this.
It’s not saying I’ve never been told ‘Nurse is OP, you use OP killer’. You always get people who can’t fathom you’ve practised hard for that. Love this video 🖤

  12. I think is different the reason… the lack of knowledge about the counterplay for spirit and the game itself that doesn’t penalize spirits to phase walk in the wrong way.

  13. Everytime I run into a nurse and they struggle with typical survivor antics, i feel bad.

But i do feel scared when i realised that the nurse player is actually good at predicting and my team starts to get wrecked.

  14. Remember when Legion was stupidly OP? would just cheese the chase and let the timer run out on the frenzy hits? He would just look at the ground and or moonwalk the blood trail to follow you while your timer would run out and if you stopped to mend he'd just down you. The most outraged the community has ever been?…or?
