  1. I LOVE this chapter! I have been wanting a vampire killer for years and I am so happy we get the king himself! I am also stoked we get to play as Alucard! I really hope they bring more skins and characters to the game, I would love to see them add Hector and Isaac and some of the other vampires, too! And I agree Project W was also a fat W of a chapter and my third being Nicolas Cage! <3

  2. I gotta say Im so glad they didnt fuck this one up, my only problem with it is I do think the bat form and the whole playstyle of saying nuh uh to certain loops is a bit strong, but thats all numbers. Thank VileJund we didnt get another skull merchant and instead got an actually fun killer. Now I wait for fnaf, and cross my fingers for it to not suck.

  3. Castlevania is amazing and is genuinely such a breath of fresh air after recent chapters not really winning me over a ton.

I think undoubtedly though my favorite chapter will forever be Alan Wake. Introducing my favorite horror protagonist from my favorite game of all time into the game I've been playing since middle school for the past 8 years was undoubtedly one of the coolest moments in my mind. Not to mention he got his OWN TOME with a CUTSCENE and every lore entry completely narrated by Matthew Poretta, as well as Alan in-game being 100% fully voiced by Matt is just SO COOL. On top of Rose being fully voiced by Jessica Preddy as well!! Not to mention Alan's perks, albeit still quite undertuned aside from Champion of Light, are incredibly unique. I unironically ran Illumination with Circle of Healing and Shadow Step for the LONGEST time after he came out lol.

And on top of ALL OF THAT, my favorite Killer since launch finally got the insane rework he deserved. Hillbilly my beloved <3 AND we also got base-game FOV slider that patch, as well as the 3 gen solution, Sadako got buffed, Blight's addons got nerfed, and Grim Embrace (a perk I've always loved the concept of) got it's major buff. It's insane how much the stars aligned for me specifically during the Alan Wake patch but I loved every minute of it, the only thing that could've made it better was getting Melanie Liburd to voice Saga in-game </3

  4. Hell yeah! This is my favourite Chapter too, especially with this upcoming Tome! All it lacks is a Netflix crossover for more cosmetics! Would love to see Show Drac and Trevor, as well as maybe Issac and Hector!

  5. Yeah this chapter pretty much is peak DBD for me. Like it was the one IP that if DBD got it my life would be complete. The upcoming rift is just icing to the cake for me. I too was bummed for no map but perhaps they didn't know how to translate it into one that wouldn't be RPD 2.0 as you said. I'm glad you find good use with bat form I just can't work it into my play style outside of just yeeting myself on accident due to trying to flip back to say wolf but was on the wrong side of the window after the teleport.

  6. I'm happy for you that you're enjoying the Castlevania chapter so much! I haven't wanted to play dbd at all lately but I still enjoy your videos and think the chapter looks great! I hope they add the cosmetics from the show for you!

  7. I love castlevania aswell. Been playing since 64 and been playing every single game including the inspirational arts that are lament of innocence and curse of darkness.
    Even LoS.

Castlevania is a lifestyle and in all honesty ~
The love the games give you is many.
Even a maybe too much fan of dracula himself.
    Things can inspire ~

Saying this yes i love the castlevania chapter aswell and i am so hyped to play the ACTUAL SOMA for the first time in 3D which is really crazy.
BHVR for one time making hot bread.

  8. Glad you've been having a blast with this chapter! I think I'm in the minority with not enjoying playing as Dracula. Tried him out for maybe 5-10 rounds on release and just had a very rough time with wolf form feeling quite clunky on console. Thought this would be right up my alley since I've played a lot of demo, wesker, pyramid head and spirit in the past but for whatever reason, it just never really clicked for me. All the survivor stuff with this chapter seems awesome and the new tome looks amazing

Favorite chapter is still Project W for me. Stranger Things being a close second

  9. I love Dracula so much. I'm surprised people don't like the dog, I'm like a dog 70% of the time lol. In fact, I often forget I can just outplay some loops with hellfire, I just go for those around the corner dog bites most of the time.

  10. The Castlevania chapter is just what the Resident Evil chapters are. Overrated. Now notice how I'm NOT saying they are bad. But there's a reason why people choose Nemesis and Wesker. Not just because they're strong, but because of popularity, especially Wesker even untill this very day. Dracula is the exact same as Wesker and unless they nerf one or the other to be less potent in game, I have a feeling those two are gonna be the majority of games for a LONG time.

  11. I feel really good about the state of DBD right now. They're listening more to the community, they're releasing bangers, they acquired Red Hook for a possible Darkest Dungeon crossover, it's really exciting.
