Are we going back to the 2019 meta? | Dead by Daylight

Just a fun match showcasing a lobby full of 2019-style meta perks. I think current variety of perks is definitely better but it is kind of funny to see that some perks have endured several reworks and are still massively popular.

  1. I mean… to be fair, you still got a 4K. Survivors will always use these perks when killers can just face camp and tunnel someone out of the game when they are behind tempo. It’s like a vicious cycle. Behavior needs to make tunneling/camping impossible somehow or disincentivize it. Then they can properly nerf these perks into the ground or just remove them/rework them or vice versa. Idk I just find it hypocritical for KILLERS, not Otz specifically, to complain about these perks when they can just tunnel/face camp a survivor.

  2. Making these comparisons are still useless. The game is badly balanced if you match against 4 soloq players of 4 swf. These perks are strong and nearly OP when you have 4 people synchronizing and making the best use of it. BHVR havent adressed this since 2016, so why make another boring videos about it.

  3. I mean…. You made a lot of mistakes and knew they were going for flashy saves and yet just kept picking up anyways or going for fancy shots. Not the perks fault you let them frustrate you.

  4. Remember when DH was actually crap after the rework because of the animation bug or something, so people actually used other exhaustion perks? Do the devs not see that they need to nerf DH to the fricking ground for other perks to shine? The only meta survivor perk that they managed to effectively nerf is DS, gotta give credit where it's due. But the fact that it doesn't deactivate when going into lockers is baffling.

And before I see any stupid replies, I play both sides! I just want to see variety in gameplay ffs

  5. Just make DH either avoid basic or special attacks, not both. It will be tougher against some killers vs others, but there will always be a way to avoid DH altogether. Therefore other perks might be run to be more effective against every killer.

  6. DH is the a perk with the highest skill ceiling out of all the exhausts, although you could argue the same for sprint burst, so it's not surprising to see it.
DS and Off the record prevent tuneling, which is also one of the best strats for killer, so again no surprise there. Also, the longer you stay alive the longer you or your teammates can do gens, so perks that keep you alive longer or speed up gens will always be meta simply, because of the game design.
Those perks never got bad after nerfs, they just became more resonable to face as a killer.

  7. what I feel like is these long lasting meta perks will just always be extremely viable unless they outright kill or rework the perks, because they're really not that difficult to get value out of (unlike stuff like MoM) and provide a really, really huge benefit, that being literally avoiding death and giving you a chance to reset the entire chase
even if dead hard was a 0.25 second window I fully believe it'd still be a really strong choice because in pallet loops it'll still be able to create an unavoidable lose lose situation for a killer as long as they press E in the correct 0.25 second time frame

  8. No offense but these players were just good lmao it has nothing to do with perks, you clearly waited their dead hard out once you realized they had it so really quit blaming the perks when they were just good lmao

  9. The game has changed, is just people cannot accept that and keep playing the game as if it hasn't, imagine if that meg had those perks with their old effects. You would had been far worse off in this match
