Wow no one saw this coming! Dead By Daylight shocked the world with a surprise announcement that there will be a Resident Evil chapter coming in June. They dropped a teaser trailer for the new chapter, as well as a news announcement on the website, as well as a video statement from Dead By Daylight Game Director Mathieu Cote.
This crossover chapter between Capcom’s Resident Evil and Dead By Daylight is a great collaboration with one of the most beloved horror franchises celebrating their 25th anniversary and Dead By Daylight celebrating it’s 5th anniversary.

So at the end of the the trailer there is a gaint X in the middel of the screen. The Chapter is so far we know Resident Evil x Dead by daylight. There is a character called mister X! X GONNA GIVE IT TO YA!
So my guess wil be Killer: Mister-X – Survivor: Leon and Claire!
Otherwise it might be Nemisis
And since this chapter launches after resident evil village! Maybe lady dumitrescu and Ethan Winters?

Amazing- resident evil, silent hill, Halloween, cannibal, saw, scream, nightmare, stranger things. All these in one game, the ultimate horror game.

every map has its own hook, this trailer clearly showed us a new hook so it cant be red forest. its a completely new map

So here is my guess on who the killer is going to be: Nemesis, Tyrant, A Hunter, A Licker or Jack Baker. I personally think its going to be Jack Baker and ethan is the survivor

I have studied many scientific theories and done lots of research, leading me to notice an umbrella corporation logo, meaning Resident evil is involved. However, a major point in the trailer is the flashlight. Since this is a killer showcase, we have think what killers have against flashlights: Lightborn.
Leading me to believe that the new killer is: LIGHTBORN!!!!

Also, the killer is either Jack Baker with control over the mold or Nemesis with a rocket launcher. But since BHVR referenced S.T.A.R.S……. I'm leaning towards the OG tyrant: Nemesis.

Here’s the thing, if they put Jill and Chris they could just reskin Jill to look like Claire and same with cris to look like Leon.
With the Killer I have a felling it’s gonna be mr X with a few optional skins for nemesis or his damaged mutated form.

and it's finally official: Resident Evil chapter <3 such an amazing addition for the Dbd world. Now give us at least 2 survs and a killer, combined with many costumes for the survs with the different protagonists from Resident Evil.
Basic survs should be: Jill, Leon. Skins could be Ada and Claire as well as Chris. Would love to see Wesker either as killer or as skin for Leon. Otherwise for the killer I'm thinking of Mr.X and Nemesis mostly (although Wesker would be a crazy one as well)

That scream sounds similar to Leon voice, but the shape of hair remainds me of Chris or maybe even Nathan from RE7, BUT I AM STILL HOPING THAT THEY WILL ADD JILL OK.

I think the teaser was just made for the announcement purpose without containing any remarkable clues about who will be in this chapter. So with this in mind, the survivor in the hook is Felix. Certainly he screams like him.
My bet is that the survivors are going to be Leon and Claire. And the killer probably Mr. X. Making this DLC entirely focused on the RE2 remake, which was critically and commercially a bigger hit than RE3. Even more so, to back this up, RE Resistance that came bundled with it, featured Mr. X as a playable character. Not Nemesis.
On top of this, next July Resident Evil Infinite Darkness will premiere on Netflix which also will have Leon and Claire as protagonists. So this will be the perfect timing to introduce these characters into DBD.
Don't get me wrong. I will be still happy if the new killer is Nemesis and the survivor is Jill or Chris (or both).
