  1. This chase theme is very well done, it’s fits perfectly with how eerie it is. It invokes the thought of something that is not meant to be here, not meant to be alive, yet somehow it is, and it’s chasing you from within the skin of another human, but despite that, it looks as tho it’s merely wearing to hide whatever’s inside. And what’s inside is well… unknown.

  2. This is the first DBD song that I've ever came back to listen to on repeat. There's this sinister aura flourishing throughout this melody. The strings feel somber, yet makes you feel uneasy.

Then, in phase 4, all of the cacophony that was built up comes exploding with an anxiety inducing synth and drum kit. This is my favorite killer song for sure. I can't wait for this killer in March.

  3. JOKES ON YOU
Sounds more like the dryer machine :v
(Being serious, hearing this partially "knowing" what i'm running away from gives it a very terrifying feeling, ON TOP OF THE VERY DISTURBING KILLER)

  4. The fourth layer sucks. Get over yourselves. It doesn't sound like a washing machine but it's just boring. It doesn't have anything good to it at all. It needs to be way more intense. Chuck's sucks too.

  5. Layer 1 feels like you're searching for your friend, looking around while calling their name, hoping for a response.

In Layer 2, you realize your friend is probably not around here. You're about to give up, but you feel like something else is with you until you unexpectedly hear their voice calling you in the darkness. Strangely, it sounds a bit different from how you remembered it.

In Layer 3, surprised, you head straight to where your friend is calling you, asking them what happened. Yet, they keep repeating the same words over and over again, without answering your questions. Their voice slowly fades, but they continue calling you.

In Layer 4, you finally come across your "friend" peeking his head around the corner, or rather, what was pretending to be your friend. Because now you realize the mistake you made, uncovering the unknown. That thing tells you with your friend's distorted voice: "You found me."

  6. This is probably the only killer where the chaotic, frenzied chase music fits. I mean, for Ghostie it was a bit off given his lore, appearance etc.

But this… thing… it fits so perfectly. Please don't change it, BHVR!

  7. Something that hits me different is the Unknown's lore: most Killers come to the Entity willingly (e.g. Deathslinger), or step into the Fog and just eventually surrender to the Entity's impulses (e.g. Legion).
Pinhead basically comes to the Entity's Realm to take a break from his usual business. Because he didn't get pulled in here by the Entity, but by the Lament Configuration, he's exempt from all the usual rules, which is how he's able to drag Survivors to Hell in his mori. He just plays along because he finds it fun (presumably).

But The Unknown? The Unknown was screwing around with a journalist who was investigating it, and defined it. Doing that invited The Unknown's attention, which is a death sentence.
However, before The Unknown was able to land the killing blow, the Entity saw what was happening and dragged The Unknown, kicking and screaming, into the Fog. Not to spare the journalist of course, but because it wanted to make use of The Unknown in it's own realm.

The Unknown didn't want to come here. It wanted to stay in it's own world, tormenting and killing those who dared to investigate and define it.
    But it's here anyway.
And that means it's possibly the most pissed off of all the Killers.

"I will not be denied my happiness."

  8. I'm the only one that thinks it needs to be more chaotic and crazy?, more similar to the doc chase theme, this sounds like way too chill to be played when a "beyond human understanding" monster is chasing you
