In this DBD video I’ll explain why it might be best not to buy Wesker until the next patch as his current condition is pretty awful. I also through some shade at the RPD reworks again because I can’t help myself.

  1. I disagree, the new maps* are fine. They are smaller and the frustration from getting lost in the corridors is gone, because its simple and easy to navigate and I am happy that they removed the double pallets in both sides of the stairs.
Wesker is buggy, but fixable. This whole video was just a "waaagh" fest. You didn't even explain your reason for why the reworked maps are bad.

  2. The people who say “git gud” and “his hitbox isn’t that small” are on some wacky shit or were literally hit in the head with a baseball bat. Dowsey’s recent video literally shows how crappy his hitbox really is.

  3. I don’t fucking get it. Why do so many people hate the new RPD? All the weak loops are stronger and all the strong loops are weaker. How the fuck is that not good enough for people?!?! It feels soooo much nicer to play

  4. I keep seeing people say he's trash now but I play on console and I got adept in like 3 games, to me he feels quite strong. Maybe I'm just trippin since I didn't play him during the PTB but I like how he feels

  5. I waited a bit to see how he'd do. I still do nearly as well as I did on ptb. Still dominating survivors. Just gotta deal with the fact you need to be super precise with him. There are some times where stuff doesn't hit even when I go right through them and it gets an eye roll out of me but I let it slide since he's still fun to play as.

  6. What makes Wesker even more frustrating is because of a mix of his tiny survivor hitbox and his too big environmental hitbox, he literally cannot plays loops (you know how his entire power is an anti-loop one). It is completely in the survivors favor in loops. The throw doing 0 damage if not colliding into a wall which further reinforces this issue. The devs just removed worthwhile skill from good wesker players because there's no point in actually trying to play loops with his power.

LIKE WHY DOES HE EVEN HAVE COLLISION WHEN NOT HOLDING A SURVIVOR? It's so pointless and dumb.

  7. I Just experienced a match against Wesker where his animations were bugged so instead of running he was skating around on one foot it was hilarious and funny and caught me so off guard I just couldn't run away.

  8. I agree with you on the "don't buy him right now, but I've still been playing him nonstop so do with that what you will" I think those of us still playing a lot of Wesker are just hoping that oh maybe the next game won't be so bad, maybe I'll actually get to hit all of my bounds, maybe I won't get that bug that makes you instantly drop a survivor after bounding etc

  9. Hard disagree actually
He's still super fun, and that's the most important question when it comes to wheter or not to buy it.
He was a little too strong on PTB, and is in a good spot now
The only issue with him are hitboxes right now, but they're surely working on it at the moment

  10. If weskers ability was easy to land that would make him busted with how his displacement works especially how it can lock onto walls it shouldnt be able to in the far distance. I had a wesker once grab me and we ended up traveling the distance about max nurse blink range into a wall. The issue is bhvr making super busted killers without thinking of the ramifications or issues that it will pose aka how nurse came into existence

  11. I think the fan of RE5 in me is making me look past Wekser’s flaws a bit more than most, but his hitbox is the worst. I’m fine with the bugs, but i just can’t hit anyone to throw them, which is my favorite part.

  12. Thats really strange i've played a lot of wesker, even got adept with no real problems. The only bug i've experienced is the one where you charge them and just push them. I also don't use add ons maybe the addons are what's causing him to bug out for people? That or i'm just very lucky. Or maybe he just works better on console?

  13. What bugs are you guys talking about! I've played him ps5 at least 30 times since his release. And the only bug I got was he goes through survivors. But that only happened at least once or twice in the last 30 games. And the bug where he grabs and let's survivors go hasn't happened to me. Honestly it's probably a PC problem 😑
(and yes I got 3-4 ks every game and I use his power every chance I get.)

  14. i dont think it was a mistake to buy wesker. he still is my favorite killer to play right now even though he is hard to use sometimes, but i also run perks that make his terror radius an absolute nightmare to be in [infectious fright and distressing, add bbq and u have map-wide knowledge] so i generally have a fun time with him. if they fixed him up a bit, incredible, i'll have even more fun.

  15. I will never get tired of how hypocritical some survivors are about killer variety. They hate facing certain killers (Blight, Nurse, Huntress) but don't understand why people play them. Either they just enjoy the playstyle (wild I know) or they choose those killers because they aren't invalidated by map RNG or the hold W strat. Any survivor that hates those killers, Blight in particular, doesn't hate the killers themselves. The hate the fact that brain dead shit like holding W and pre-dropping pallets does nothing against them and they actually have to use their brain.

  16. Imagine buying anything for a dieing game. Shouldve had their game in order years ago. 2016, and we are still dealing with this crap. Play better more fun games. Dont give fhese devs your money. More concerned with cringe dating sims that the actual game.

  17. Nobody wanted to believe me when I said "He's just another subpar/below mediocre killer."… It's so sad, but thats just what reality is. He is not good, even if he wouldn't be bugged. I kinda regret buying him since I did not know about the bugs :/
