Dracula basically has Spirit’s phase but better in almost every way (barring being able to instantly attack), and also has two other powers. It doesn’t make much sense. Either buff Spirit or Nerf Dracula.

I personally think that all they need to do it number changes to bat form and thats it. If they nerf worf/hellfire I'm gonna be upset.
I think you're exaggerating a bit here. I do think when he morphs it should take a few seconds longer and actually be a morph, not a instant magical transformation. It is too easy to switch between forms. However to call any of his powers standalone on par with the killers they were taken from is a huge stretch. Jack of all trades, master of none. Combine them and he is powerful AF. If they were his only power he would be pants. In this example compared to the spirit. You can see the bats and hear the direction they are coming from, from a mile away. This is massive. You can see him the entire time. You get clues from the spirit but that alone takes skill to understand and even then it's not a perfect art. Spirit phase by far dominates the Dracula bats.
Don't forget about him ALSO completely invalidating my favorite killer PYRAMID HEAD. My poor boy… He's already suffered so much after his debilitating dumpy reduction nerf.
My villainous suggestion is for Spirit to be able to teleport to windows; it'd be thematic
after coming out of batform slap the bat form a 25 second cooldown and reset hellfire and doggy pounce so no instant zoning with ranged attacks
I dunno about this. Maybe I just wouldn't be good as Spirit, but I can only use bat for movement. If I stumble onto scratch marks I switch to wolf for the enhanced tracking (scent orbs, scratchies, brighter blood).
Long cooldown on pounce isnt a bother because its balanced around and very flavorful with the whole scent orb-gathering bloodhound vibe.
Hellfire is alright. It makes you so much slower than similair powers and the cooldown is way longer than similair powers.

Seeing the new Drac skin in-game is nuts. Not only is it incredibly menacing, but a mfer would have to grind super hard ((or just buy tiers lmao)) to have that, as it looks like the Deep Rift variant.
It's really tricky to weaken bat forms ability in chase without accidentally making it's usage as map traversal clunky, for instance if you just slap a slowdown after transforming from bat form then it's PTB Vecna again. With the idea of putting a cooldown on bats after injuring someone this could create clunky situations where you want to leave chase after injuring someone and bat form is just locked from you for an awkward bit of time. If it's just a general bat form ban while in chase then your contesting with the jank of being "in chase" or not. My best guess at what could be done is weakening the players ability to track survivors while in bat form to make it easier to counterplay it's usage i.e. no survivor sounds at all.
brotha what are usaying. that shi is reactable, just camp window or pallet until u see him transform on your side. if they break, just move to the next pallet or walk into them. so much more counterplay than spirit who by merit of being able to hit out of phase, is better than dracs bat form.
The frustrating thing for me when playing against Dracula is that he has a little bit of everything. He has decent to strong anti-loop, his wolf makes it harder to just W away from him, and his bats are great map traversal. He takes away most of the survivor's tools to deal with him. The only reason I still find him decently fun to play against is at least you can still mindgame him, his strengths aren't just free so the killer has to at least be pretty good with him, except arguably his bat form.
If you have a problem with dracula, stop playing him scott. Problem solved. Tadaaaaa

Okay here we go,
1. Spirit has directional phase audio, Dracula doesn’t, so it’s hard for Dracula to ambush survivors stealthy.
2. Spirit when not phasing has intermittent phasing which is good in chase and can confuse survivors in chase, Dracula’s bat can’t do that.
3. Dracula isn’t even on the same level as spirit, She’s an A tier while Dracula is a high B tier.
Overall, it seems Scott just hating for the sake of hating. He wasn’t happy with Dracula then and he isn’t happy now even after they made slight adjustments after his release.
strictly speaking from a marketing perspective: he will get nerfed when the sale figures are fine.
Why do players insist on a nerf on something the killer has before learning the counterplay? This happens with every new killer now. Are they incapable of thinking or learning?
Okay, Dracula in bat form has two cons,
1. The traction of his flight is hard to mannage, he can easily bump into things, even on indoor maps. This will slow him down.
2. Scratch marks – and this applies to good survivors.
Counters; 1. Instead of holding W every time they see the bat form, they should walk. In chase, they can stop and double back, confuse the scratch marks. I don't know why some players make this out to be rocket science when it's not.
2. When Dracula teleports in bat form, you see a mist. And unless survivors are blind or have the awarness of a cockroach, you can see that mist coming, slow or fast, depending on the addons.
Also, I don't think the bat form has a built in Stridor. I think that's just good Dracula players that don't rely on scratch marks to find the survivor. And I play a lot of Oni, a lot of the survivors I find is by listening for them, or watching the movement from the crows.
And also, saying that Hellfire more powerful than Pyramid Head's Punishment is a stupid take. It does not go through walls for one thing, and it does have a cool down, which can be lessened of course with an addon.
This all being said, I wish people would take time to learn the counterplay of the killer as well as playing the killer before calling for the standardization of that killer.
Playing killer is hard enough as it is. But it becomes miserable when there are bad players out there who don't want to learn or do anything else against killer other than holding W.
His skill floor is too low to be as good as he is. Missing hits with his power is not punishing enough

I still prefer to go against Dracula, you can at least see him when he's in bat form, he can't attack you right away making it so that reaching a tile actually meaning something when he reaches you.
I'm more on the side of: Completely rework older killers instead. Especially Nurse who's existence in this game I still can't understand. Change her power completely, do so with Spirit as well, completely rework Freddy and Michael, give them a more modern and useful in 2024 kinda powers. Rework Pig instead of minor unhelpful buffs.

Bat form should NOT see scratch marks. It functions very well as a traversal tool for Dracula woth fast movement and teleportation, it should stay good at that and instead not be a chase tool as his other 2 forms do that well
I think all they need to do is just add an animation for leaving the bat form where he can't move or move at like at most 10% speed and that's it to make it worse than spirit, it would essentially make the bat form purely a traversal tool as the animation would be long enough for a survivor to make distance. They could also buff dog form to just regenerate lunge fully when you absorb the scent, rather than only part of it.
Spirit is mainly worse to play against for the people that have hearing issues or people that don't have speakers with good directional audio, which some will consider that it's cruel. Other than that, bat form has some stuff traded off, survivor can see bats while spirit can only be heard etc. which makes them technically equal, but bat form still has some benefits

Why exactly do killers think they shouldn’t be losing games, ever?? Mid-high MMR killers absolutely destroy 95% of the time but will b1tch about stuff being OP if they lose ONCE. Meanwhile they’re out here playing like there’s money on the line. S tier killer mains have nothing to complain about yet they’re consistently the loudest
It’s absolutely golden hearing someone who mains a strong killer complain about a (rare) loss, saying “there’s nothing I could’ve done better, the reason I lost was just out of my control” when that’s literally what they do to every survivor team they come across. Survivor skill is just obsolete at this point; most of the time it ends guessing on whether a survivor escapes through the hatch or not. And this is what the game is balanced around? Smfh.
I can’t say “don’t play to win” because that’s not fair. But when it’s so easy for killers to win, it’s kinda hard not to bitch. A good SWF might make you work for that win, but killers almost always come out on top. Hot take, buff survivor overall or nerf killer overall

My take here, give his powers all completely separate cool downs (similar to how the knight's is) and balance those powers accordingly ( hellfire is too powerful and I miss doggo hug tech).

Yeah typical Behavior over buff. The community seems to know this and I honestly don't go against many Dracs currently, but of course when you do see one its a sweat and makes the game as miserable as possible.
Its just typical dlc powercreeping to incentivize sales. thats it
they should make it so at the end of bat form the bat releases a non damaging sonic wave AOE attack and the transformation back to dracula after it, that is mandatory, takes a long time like 3 to 5 seconds so its not for chasing or downing. hell need a cooler animation from killers pov and a menacing stare with red eyes for survivors so its not so boring. its considered an m1 attack but doesnt do any damage, applies blindness or hindered or something and increases the debuffs the survivor would take from any basic attacks. so itd make sloppy butcher, knock out, franklins, rapid brutality, best for last would have longer duration and strength by a little bit. with the numbers tweaked here and there and possibly nerfing his other abilities I think its a good idea
