I have an idea of what the whole Teacher thing was about. I personally think that the “Detention” power was the ablity to send survivors to somewhere other than a hook after downing them. And that was used for Pyramid Head and his cages. That’s what Matieu meant when he asked “Was it not already used?”.

Let's face it, if DbD were just a big game of Hide & Seek, it would have never gotten as big as it did.
Hide and seek is fun for a little while but gets stale real quick.
Looping brought something very unique to the table and allowed killer powers to matter way more which helped solidify DbD's place as the current Number 1 of asymmetrical games
Trapple sounds like a survivor attack item, like a mini stun bear trap a survivor could leave around the map
I would like if pallets are gone for good
