it's only useless without the instadown addon
they definitely need to rework nightfall, it does almost nothing, and if anything you see the killer better
That team at the beginning was so sad, very unlucky
Nightfall makes the teleport faster and gives it a shorter cool-down and even gives you Killer Instinct when using the power on top of being Undetectable. With a teleport/ Anti-Loop ability that's a lot.
I do agree that he shouldn't fucking glow but it's not nothing.
The state that survivors stay after being hit by Legion's Frenzy makes harder to see things more than this killer's power, there's no sense
They wanted the nightfall to be like you can’t see anything “Except” the killer like a nightmare where all there is, is you and it except it doesn’t darken enough to really be like that so instead it’s just a filter that makes the an undetectable killer glow. They should probably just double the distance of the darkness so that way it’s just from in the darkness the killer comes at you
Dredge actually does have a very small ability to counter looping. If you charge your teleport at a pallet, you can teleport back to the Remnant and block the survivor from dropping it. The Remnant disappears if you or the survivor run into it, but you can counteract this with the Field Recorder add-on, which makes them exhausted for 15 seconds when they come in contact with a Remnant. With the add-on it's a pretty reliable tactic, otherwise it's niche but useful in some cases.
I think for one, he shouldn't be a silly beacon, that not only ruins it gameplay wise but also removes the horror aspect. Second it should maybe be a little darker? Or maybe put some kind of different effect on the screen (so that you can't just raise your gamma settings and be fine idk). Overall fun idea, not the best execution, love the lockers tho
I don’t think they meant for the killer to be highlighted like tht. Did they?
Insert coming out of the closet joke here
It feels like the anniversary killer was planned on being Wesker, but they had some issue, so they swapped them. It feels like this killer needed/needs more time in the oven.
he gets some buffs in nightfall but the point is not so hes a little stronger for a couple seconds the point is suspense and fear but seeing him so clearly does the opposite effect they should just get rid of that completely and slightly darkened the screen or make the fov actually smaller but the point of night fall doesnt make sense right now
this killer's entire power seems more pointless than trickster's existence
I thought Nightfall was going to be something like the Survivor only seeing a certain distance away and shroud the rest in complete, pitch black darkness. Instead, we get to play the game in widescreen
It just looks like it would be good in indoor maps
I feel like if he is to still glow like he does than the range that a survivor can see while in nightfall should decreases some more, just so that if they are in chase they won't be able to see the next loop thats off it the distance. That way he has something against chases.
Bro cool looking killer but their power just seems… sigh
Insanity Major and Joony Joster get it. I think the killer is getting used to the power. I think you can't see auras outside of your little vison radius, while Night Fall is active.
i knew it would be useless… lockers for example are not spread out in the map especially in open areas.
tat lemme tell you. his remnants are SUPER strong in chase. you gotta give it some more time without assuming.
Though the killer is very very scary to actually go up against. They need to at least rework night fall so it could actually be an advantage for the killer.
I mean i think that to this day, Sadako is pretty good (mid tier) . Maybe this dredge can be as well
They could alter nightfall's look by making it appear to survivors how it looks for the Dredge when its charging the teleport (minus glowing lockers, of course).
Current nightfall and glow should become the base state of things for the Dredge, but actual new nightfall should be pitch black darkness where you can see only a few meters in front of you, without the glow and with the rest of current nightfall benefits IMHO.
Otherwise, this killer will probably be stupidly weak.
his chase power comes from leaving a remnant at a key point in a loop then chasing the loop. its like basically setting down an instant hag trap that u can return to, making a 50/50 where survivors dont know if he is going to tp or chase straight forward
"Yeah, he'll glow bright white in dark"
"surely the survivors will get jumpscared"
Nightfall is not useless in nightfall killer can tp too much fast and witch shorter cooldown and no terror radius and he can see survivors white so they cant hide
It’s harder to navigate when you are in deep wound than in nightfall 💀
I think even that erie oni addon is more usefull
The killer has been out for less than a day, I don’t think it’s fair to say this is how everyone will play them. I’m sure eventually people will know how to play him effectively 🙂
Come on Tat, whats that build? I never imagined you would run that many meta perks
It fucking notifies survivors it’s in play!? That pallet perk was already shit, why does it have to tell every survivor that the killer has it!? I mean ffs it’s not a goddamn hex perk or starstruck.
I think they need to make nightfall more darker
A dev on the forums have confirmed that it's effectively bugged as the values that they wanted aren't being accurately reflected in the game.
I feel really bad for you, your team couldn’t handle a chase for a total second they instantly died back and fourth, you played very well regardless your loss.
