  1. Realistically, this perk was shipped live in a horrible state. But, it could be a fun niche—especially if buffed in any meaningful way.

    For example:
    both invocations, otr, wicked. RPD

Decent time waste on the killer if they pursue basement survivor, decent time save if otherwise oppressive build—especially during the current thrill meta.

Could queue 2-man for invocation stack speed boost since you only need 1 of any invocation perk to add the 100% bonus. Shoulder the burden could work well too to keep broken survivor alive after (two wicked uses? + extra otr in return, which may remove need for teammate bringing an invocation). Teammate could alternatively bring specialist and appraisal (+ace in the hole?) since they’re in basement anyway. Or more team survivability perks like mettle of man for hit tanks. Just depends on the approach.

Either way, feels like an interesting way to turn the basement into the survivor’s domain until the next patch.

    Note:
Bringing a third swf could lead to setting the area around basement into a chem trap minefield if paired with any means necessary. Balanced landing would enable quick access from 2nd story gens to help a teammate leaving basement after an otr hit. Lots to play with to make a lackluster invocation mechanic more interesting!!

  2. Hans.. I do not know why you assumed PWYF when it comes to that Myer's player.. Since he would never be getting his stacks with his constant swinging at air… Its also matches like this that makes me question what kind of people you match with on a frequent basis.

  3. I was also very dissapointed to see that they have to be done separately. Having two good effects after one
invocation would have made it a very worthwile combination. But I think boon and invocation both need a little rework or buffs in general.
They aren't strong enough to be interesting and if you see them ingame it kinda feels like a troll. Maybe take the invocations time down to 45 seconds, give weaving spiders 12%
on all gens and treacherous crows 2 seconds aura reading when the killer scares a crow in general, not just within a survivors terror radius.

  4. When I first read the perks description I thought it was just saying when the survivor AND killer scared cross via being in chase it would proc. I didn't realize it was specifically stating the Killer had to be the one to scare the crows. So this makes it just horrendous.

  5. I noticed that after the update Eyes of Belmont perk doesn’t work for other perks, like it’s extension on aura reading doesn’t work with perks like Alert, Troubleshooter or Object of Obsession

  6. I still say they should allow both invoccations to be used at the same time, just increase the time of the ritual by 30 seconds (50%) per extra invoccation so that it's a greater risk of being stopped prematurely for a larger reward.

I still wouldn't run t.crows though. I have only ever seen it work….twice(?) in my own games. It just does not provide the value the devs think it does.

  7. The problem with summons is that it takes too long for a "meh" effect, and it also leaves you in the broken state for the entire game, at least penalizing you in another way, either repairing slower, or making the killer see your aura if you are far away or another effect, which shows a difference in perk and not a recycling with another effect, and as I say, an effect that is too meh for such a big penalty.

  8. I think if the invocation is going to make you broken the perk should give you the same buffs that no mither gives you. this perk is useless without that
edit: or give everyone calm spirit once the invocation is finished

  9. I feel like if it was any time a crow was disturbed within TR would make it better. Can't just have people edge map farming crows for constant aura, and two seconds every crow isn't a lot to begin with, not to mention the cooldown on the crows themselves. Idk, probably a few extra tweaks and whatnot, but I think that would make it pretty not awful while not being OP in the slightest.

Also, it's definitely not the worst perk in the game. Visionary exists. There's not a single situation where you would run Visionary over Deja Vu.
Then also, personally, Windows is second worst. Just learn the maps. Worst case, spend a few seconds at the start of the match learning the specific layout you got for that instance. Windows is completely unnecessary if you have any form of short term memory.

  10. I suck at looping, so being perma broken is not good for me and I'll never use any invocation perk (I also can't time Dead Hard for s*** lol)

But yeah, Treacherous Crows seems pretty bad 💀
