All 6 Licensed Map Adaptations Ranked Worst to Best (Dead by Daylight Map Tier List)

Read more Dead by Daylight ➜ https://deadbydaylight.mgn.tv

Hey everyone, today we’re going to be ranking the licensed maps of Dead by Daylight on how well they were adapted from their source material. We’re going to rank the adaptation on how visually faithful it is to its source material, but also how well the devs adapted the environment for the setting of Dead by Daylight and its systems.

Chapter XXI is a Hellraiser one! The PTB has been released and featured the new killer, The Cenobite, or Pinhead. This is, however, the only content that seems to be releasing with the chapter.

  1. i just think u havent played enough dbd to give advice on how to fix rpd or other map to fit the game play
making rpd a quarter of the size isnt how u fix it that just will create either a heavy killer sided map or just get rid of the astetics by craming loops into the size, i would say that rpd it awful and they should of just maid it a main building inside of the streets around it (also mad it smaller )

  2. I'm still waiting for a haddonfield map rework because the map feels too bright and a bit small, like some of the house aren't open and the layout just feels out of place's, i like the enviorment so far with the polices cars still, but the house it self feels really empty and not much to offer.

  3. As a meme, for all these thirsty commenters asking for “Survivors/Killers ranked from sexiest to least sexiest” you should just list the characters randomly and then give bullshit reasons as to why you believe they are so.

Of course my #1 would be Jeff, because he has a corpse paint skin and rocks a dad bod that gender envious women can all enjoy 😊

  4. As a Resident Evil fan, I love the RPD map visually but I get why it sucks in terms of gameplay. Perhaps it would have been better if we got a more generic map on the streets of Raccoon City (with the entrance to the RPD acting as an exit gate).

  5. Honestly Hawkins was done pretty good to me, as a fan of the show behaviour seen how all the secretive rooms and large water tubs were near the portal room downstairs and then having the testing rooms where they ran tests on rats and eleven were upstairs was done well. I see alot resemblance in comparison between the game and the show and behaviour did great with the Easter egg with the 2 dead Hawkins workers upstairs near the containment room when eleven killed them.

  6. In a nutshell:
    1) A map is too faithful to the actual place it illustrates and doesnt suit dbd gameplay
    2) A map has been altered to be better suited for dbd gameplay and isnt a good illustration of the original

  7. You gotta love this guy, he always does all his videos with joy (or seems like it) and every time he gets new ideas, started watching him 1 month ago and I’m a huge fan, keep up the good work

  8. I actually liked the RPD as it was. Now I cannot say for the other map except that I never saw a place like what they had in the saw movies like DBD. Though it did not need to be original like a movie set or adapted. The RPD gets a lot a flak, but I think only a few actual changes need to be made. Maybe add doors for the killer needs to break, thinking of the key rooms. That would make the map smaller and still give access to the gens that where currently available in those placements. That way the killer can decide if the short cut helps or gives more chance for survivors to hide/escape, like midwitch that has whole avenues of passages blocked by breakable doors.
